Cloudflare just published official documentation for running WebRTC on a microcontroller: an ESP32-S3 in Rust, publishing Opus audio and telemetry over DataChannels to up to eight browser listeners, with the SFU credentials kept on a Cloudflare Worker rather than the device itself. IOT, WebRTC and Cloudflare. All put together. With ESP32 as the topping. Voice AI is bringing WebRTC to embedded devices faster than anything else ever could.
