Microsoft Teams enters the metaverse race with 3D avatars and immersive meetings (The Verge)
Not my cup of tea.

Every interaction counts with enterprise CPaaS (Webex blog)
Webex CPaaS is built in top (from?) the acquisition of imiconnect. The Video API seem to be built on top of the Webex infrastructure.

Introducing Pinterest TV, a fresh dose of live, original and shoppable creator shows (Pinterest)

Not sure what the end game here. Linux users are likely to use Firefox. Maybe Chrome. Microsoft should have a reason for them to use Edge.

How to add virtual background transparency in WebRTC (webrtcHacks)

Release Notes for Safari Technology Preview 134 (WebKit)
It would be nice to see the too-many-bugs-in-WebRTC-Safari-iOS getting fixed than what they do in their releases for the last year.

Use Cases and Customer Wins

Facebook Messenger audio calls are coming to Oculus Quest (TechCrunch)

Picovoice Cobra Voice Activity Detection Engine shown to outperform Google WebRTC VAD (CNX Software)
